Encarnación, 1926
A short film by Mathias Maciel
Lucas, a young shoeshine boy surviving in the train station of Villa Encarnación, silently carries the absence of his late mother. In his loneliness, one night he sends a wish to the sky, longing to see her again. But the innocent plea does not reach a shooting star—it awakens an ancient primordial monster, which interprets his yearning in the darkest way: by fulfilling his wish through destruction.
